The end of God's work in His Son is to bring the Kingdom of God back to earth. The cross, the death, the burial, the resurrection, the blood are means to that end. They are the means of citizenship. Some have made them the gospel. They are not the gospel. They are the means to the gospel, the good news of the kingdom.
