Wisdom is the application of God’s Word. Proverbs 4:7-8 says "For skillful and Godly Wisdom is the principal thing ..." Principal means first in importance. That means the Word of God needs to occupy the place of highest importance in all of your activities. Whatever you are facing, the very first thing you should ask God for is wisdom (James 1:5).
